Who we are

This website, vectorcode.ro, is operated by VECTOR CODE S.R.L., which is the controller of the personal data described below.

What this website collects

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. The website does not set cookies, does not store anything on your device and does not use analytics or advertising tools. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so opening the site does not send requests to third parties.

The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a Google service. To deliver the pages and protect them against abuse, Google processes technical data from each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. We do not use this data to identify you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you write to us

If you email us, for example to discuss a project or to request access to the driving school platform demo, we process your name, email address, the content of your message and any other details you choose to share. We use them to reply and, if you ask, to prepare an offer or a contract.

Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering messages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our email service is Google Workspace.

We keep this correspondence while we handle your request and for up to 3 years afterwards, unless the law requires a longer period (for example, accounting documents for clients).

Who receives the data

We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is processed by our service providers only as needed to run the website and email: Google Ireland Limited and its affiliates (Firebase Hosting, Google Workspace). Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We disclose data to public authorities only when the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased, or its processing restricted;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
• receive your data in a portable format.

Write to andrei@vectorcode.ro and we will answer within one month. You can also file a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, for example by adding a contact form or analytics, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
